Monday morning comes and many of us hit the pavement running ... work, chores, errands. A frantic pace begins.
Instead of greeting the day in a hurry, make a different choice. Set aside some time to quiet yourself. Sit, and engage the precious moment, a moment that will never come again.
Join me every Monday, when I'll provide a little pause, an original reflection to help you greet the day with grace and gratitude.
On this Meditation Monday, take a Sacred Pause.
A Sacred Pause is a time to stop what you're doing ...
Feel your feet upon the earth.
Feel your "self" in your body.
Feel your place in the Universe.
Close your eyes.
Open them and see the world with Sacred Vision.
Look around you with eyes of wonder and appreciation.
Give thanks for something, anything, in your line of vision.
Be glad that it is here.
Be glad that you are here ...
... a divinely sourced being walking in the planet in a time of great importance.
Remember that you are good, that life is basically good, and that all is unfolding in a Sacred Manner.
Breathe, BE, and be well.
"Holy Holidays" to all my friends near and far. I send you many blessings.
May you know true love, true joy, true peace of mind—today on this Eve of Christmas—and every day of the rest of your life.
is a touchpoint. a resting place, a "remembering" of who we really are and how we can best live—kindly and compassionately with ourselves and others.
