6 Weeks of Gentle Journaling & Contemplation
July 2 - August 12
Do something absolutely delicious for yourself this summer—being YOU,
just as you are.
Summer is the perfect time to be gentle with yourself. Long days of extra light and nature's stunning beauty provide the perfect backdrop for us to spend companionable time with ourselves. It's the ideal time to sit outside, pull out your notebook or journal, and reconnect with your soulful self. This is what I'm planning to do this summer because it's TIME to be with myself in a lovingly, kind accepting way. How about you?
Why I created "Being Me: As I Am."

You're not alone, I had some reluctance too.

If your desire for yourself is to relax, let go & simply BE YOU this summer, I'd love to share sacred space with YOU-just as you are.
Here's how to get started.

For "Being Me", I have chosen to use the Practice You journal by Elena Brower for my personal writing. This book is not required (you can use any form of journal or notebook you wish) though you might find it to your liking. The prompts are quite innovative, and allow you to compassionately explore and bear witness to yourself in ways that I, personally, have never experienced before. That's why I'm such a huge fan! Plus, the watercolor expressions are simply beautiful, deeply relaxing and comforting. You can learn more about the journal here. (I found mine on Amazon for a nice price with free Prime shipping.)
About your facilitator:
Janice Lundy, DMin, is a seasoned writer who has been putting pen to paper professionally for 25 years. She has also been using contemplative journaling as part of her spiritual practice for as many years. She's taught journaling courses since the 1990s, particularly in the health-care field for people who have been diagnosed with cancer or are struggling with chronic illness. Her clients include The University of Chicago Hospitals and Mercy Health. She is a former, syndicated women's magazine columnist and is the author of nine books. Readers, audiences and mentees describe her as "practical, yet poetic, possessing deep and gentle wisdom." She hopes this is true on most days, but when she's aware that it's not, she goes to her journal to write herself "home." She believes anyone can do the same.
