There comes a time when you realize
you may have to live your life differently.
Perhaps you've received a health diagnosis or experienced a sudden change—a loss or a divorce. Or, maybe, in a flash of insight, you just knew that you were being given an opportunity to live in an entirely new way--a way that wasn't so hurried and stressful, even painful--but you were not sure how to go about creating it. My book, Living Gently with Myself, can be your guide as you take on perhaps the greatest endeavor of your life: how to live as your true self--with life just as it is.
Over the past twenty years, I've been learning how to do this. My passion has been to find an answer to this burning question:
"How do I live my life the way I want and need; to be well and happy within myself?
And be in relationship with others. And be of service in what often feels like a mad, mad world." This is what I've discovered.

The essence of living gently:
Is more than just slowing down the pace of your life or taking better care of yourself.
Living gently is the way you can approach anything and everything that happens to you--
with compassion and innovative action so you respond to life in an enlightened way that reduces your personal suffering and expands your happiness.

The path of living gently invites you to:
• take care of your whole and "holy" self with generosity
• honor your unique energy levels, especially if you are a sensitive person • read the signs of spiritual invitation to know how to proceed • rest into, follow and trust inner knowing • utilize self-compassion practices in times of difficulty • discern the difference between "letting it be" and "letting it go" • step into the Flow of your divinely intended life |
