Spring Sadhana for Women
Spiritual Study & Practice with Jan

"For it is as she lives and breathes through her soul that she
accesses meaning and draws spiritual strength for the journey ahead."
~ Etty Hillesum
An Invitation to Sadhana:
We are living in the “in-between” right now. A powerful time of letting go, creating new, and living into the holiness of it all, including the Unknown.
The world (just as it is) is breaking us open and preparing us for something very special, something new. Do you feel it?
My sense is that we are at a pivotal time in our lives and in our history. A time ripe with opportunity to look and listen deeply, and to respond with wisdom.
I believe we are being asked to write a New Story for ourselves. A New Story for you, for me, for all of us.

I believe we are being asked to write a New Story for ourselves. A New Story for you, for me, for all of us.
Will you join me for a Spring Sadhana, a period of spiritual practice and study, March through April so we can do this together?
We will be focusing our energies on this liminal time of New Story shaping: “Living and Breathing through Our Soul.” In our 30-days of practice, we will create a space of safe exploration, trust and sacred holding, of spiritual re-connection and community. We will focus our intentions & attention on the many ways we can:•Experience the imminence of the divine in all of life
•Embrace the Sacred in micro-moments all throughout the day •Open ourselves to new ways of thinking about Life itself • Commune with our Soul & the World Soul • Hold a new vision of faith in the universe |
We will engage in a variety of practices that focus our energetic wisdom & create spiritual strength, including:• The wisdom path of divine beauty & nature’s intelligence
• Spiritual decluttering • Attuning to moments of Grace • The power of the benevolent pause • "Gladdening" • More! |
These are practices that have eternal and lasting power. They will reveal what is growing in you and what needs your attention and nurturance -- so you can write Your New Story this spring. Your time is now!

The philosophy & practice of Sadhana

The term "Sadhana" (pronounced S'od-ah-na) means, "exertion towards a spiritual goal." It is designed to uplift you spiritually and also to uplift humanity.
A Sadhana is your spiritual practice. A Sadhana can also be the focus of your life, a theme of lifetime practice, one that enables you to access your deepest self to live in alignment with the Divine as you understand it.
Sadhana is found within the world's wisdom traditions including, Christianity, Buddhism and Hinduism (yogic) traditions. It is a contemplative daily practice that may contain elements of silence, meditation, and prayer, among other elements. The Sadhanas I offer here are suitable for seekers of all traditions and none. They are inter-spiritual in nature, inter-contemplative in focus.
The way that I present Sadhana here is as a period of dedicated practice around a certain theme, which can be done alone or within sacred community, for a specific period of time. It is intended to increase devotion, providing liminal time and space for you to commune with your Self and Source. Sadhanas are known to accelerate spiritual awareness and clarity; increase peace, love and happiness; foster compassion and loving awareness of all Creation. We engage in Sadhana to illuminate and transform ourselves so we can be a healing presence in the world today.
